We Don't Need
Your Money.
That doesn't mean we won't take it.
Why We Don't Need It
This entire platform was built with under $1,000 of spend and one person's time. That means this project cannot die from lack of runway.
We're not fundraising. We're not seeking investment. We have no active round.
But velocity is valuable. And sometimes aligned capital helps things move faster.
A Forever Solution
You've seen this movie before.
A founder with a mission builds something that matters. It works. Investors come in. Growth accelerates. Everyone's aligned — for now.
Then the exit. The acquisition. The IPO. And slowly, inevitably, the mission betrayal.
New owners. New priorities. What was built for users becomes extraction infrastructure. The thing that was supposed to be the solution becomes the problem.
Vibesmithing is structurally incapable of this betrayal.
The platform cannot be sold to anyone but the community. Not to a corporation. Not to private equity. Not to a strategic acquirer.
When you participate here, you're not playing musical chairs with something that looks like a solution until the inevitable happens.
You're helping build infrastructure that will belong to the people who use it. Forever.
We Don't Take Equity Investment

...but we do have stickers for you.
Equity creates the wrong incentives. Board seats. Exit pressure. Conflicts with our community ownership endgame.
Instead, we offer Revenue Participation.
How It Works
- You front capital to help us grow faster
- We pay back 4× your investment from platform margin
- Payback begins no earlier than Year 3 from your investment
- 5% of platform margin goes to investor pool (pro-rata)
- We can prepay early if we have the cash
The faster we grow, the faster you're paid. You're betting on velocity, not ownership.
The Math
On a $100K investment, here's how payback timing scales with platform margin:
| Platform Margin | 5% to Investors | Years to 4× |
|---|---|---|
| $300K | $15K/year | ~27 years |
| $1M | $50K/year | ~8 years |
| $3M | $150K/year | ~2.7 years |
| $10M | $500K/year | <1 year |
Your capital should help us get from $300K to $3M+ faster.
That's the bet.
The Endgame
This platform cannot be sold. Ever.
Artists and listeners who participate earn ownership. Over time, the community reaches majority ownership. The founders get bought out by the people who use it.
Revenue Participation ≠ Equity
- You get paid from operating revenue — not buyout proceeds
- Your obligation completes when 4× is returned
- Community buyout ($30M) is separate — founders + co-founders
- No board seats. No governance rights. No voting power.
You're not buying a piece of the company. You're accelerating the mission and getting paid well for it.
What We Value
Patient Capital
Money that understands Year 3 minimums and growth-dependent returns.
Strategic Value
You're incentivized to help — connections, distribution, expertise all speed up your payback.
Mission Alignment
You genuinely believe artists should own their infrastructure.
No Strings
No board seats. No governance rights. No exit pressure. Just capital and alignment.
What We're Not Looking For
- Traditional equity expectations
- Board seats or governance rights
- Quick flip timelines (expect 5+ years)
- Pressure to compromise on community ownership
- Capital that doesn't understand the model
Not bad things to want. Just not what we're offering.

There's a $5 fee to chat. Not for revenue — just a signal you're at least somewhat serious. Skin in the game.
Playful reads every summary personally.
We're building infrastructure for a world where artists own their platforms. It's designed to give itself to the community.
If you want to accelerate that, let's talk.
If not, no hard feelings.
