Everything Will Change.
Help Us Do It Faster.
Is this the thing your whole life has been building towards?
The Shift
For all of human history, doing things was expensive, time-consuming, and required lots of people banding together as companies. The people who had problems often weren't in a position to solve them. The people who were in that position were running a business, not solving problems for charity.
We needed them, even the abusive ones. But we don't now.
In the time it used to take to have a feature planning meeting, you can now create the feature, use it, improve it, use the improved version, and repeat the whole process again — because each iteration takes twenty minutes.
The people who have the problems can finally be the same people who solve them.
That's what we're doing. Solving problems worth solving in a way that acts like a beacon to the rest of the humans out there. We're not special, we're just early. The future is bright.
What We're Building
Everyone gets a great deal. The problem gets solved in a lasting way. The founding team gets compensated without the betrayal that usually comes with selling.
Starting with music. Here's the core loop:
Listen
Enter curated rooms. Experience albums the way artists intended.
Collect
Your listening unlocks artwork. It arrives over time, for free.
Turn your collection into posters, shirts, whatever. Owners pay near-cost.
Artists earn more. Fans pay less. Everyone wins.
The Endgame
This platform cannot be sold. Ever.
Artists and listeners who participate earn ownership. Voting power is non-transferable. Over time, the community reaches majority ownership. The founders get bought out by the people who use it.
A platform owned by the people who make it valuable. That's what you can build when things aren't hard anymore.
If you help build this, you own a piece of it. When the community buys out the founders, you're one of the people getting bought out.
The Domains
We're building out a small founding team. Each person owns a domain completely — full accountability, full ownership of outcomes.
Technology
Architecture, infrastructure, AI systems, shipping code
Growth
User acquisition, marketing, partnerships, press
Legal/Finance
Contracts, compliance, accounting, fundraising
Clients
Artist success, support, white-label relationships
Product
UX, feature decisions, design, what we build next
Community
Culture, artist community, fostering genuine connection
The Playful Universe — Founder. Currently doing all of these until there's someone better. How This Actually Works
The playbooks for this don't exist yet. You're here to help build them.
We've already built about 10 AI team members for this platform:

Irene
Customer Support Squid
Batch operations, navigation, room management. Currently artist support — eventually all users.

Elaine
Founder Relations Octopus
Investor and co-founder conversations. You'll meet her at the end of this page.

Bob
Founder Intelligence Turtle
Pipeline awareness, learns preferences, surfaces what needs attention.
Every art generator has intelligence built in with iterative improvement loops. Each of these exists because someone understood a problem and we built exactly what was needed.
You'll do the same for your domain. The founder will build these tools with you — unless you're the kind of person who doesn't need the help.
You bring the discernment. You know what "good" looks like in your area. You guide the iteration. You recognize when something's working.
Then you use the tools. And we keep making them better. It's not a one-time build — it's continuous refinement as you learn what actually matters.
The Terms
What You Get
- Real equity in something that matters
- Full ownership of your domain — you make the calls
- Participate in the eventual community buyout
- Keep your day job — this is part-time (10-25 hrs/week)
What It Requires
- No salary until revenue — but you keep your income
- Consistent time you can actually sustain
- Accountability for your domain's success
- Comfort building with AI at the core
Is This You?
You should talk to Elaine if:
- You have 10-25 hours/week you can genuinely commit
- You want to own a piece of something that matters
- You see what's now possible with AI and want to build with it
- You're ready to own a domain completely
- You can self-direct without daily management
This probably isn't right if:
- You need this to be your primary income source
- You can't sustain even 10 hours/week
- You're looking for a stepping stone elsewhere
- You're not comfortable building with AI at the core
- You need external validation to stay motivated

Questions
The years ahead are the ones where we just solve all the problems. The whole thing, not the minimum viable version. Because now we can.
The people who have the problems can finally solve them.
Bring what you've got. Let's build.
